GMANetwork.com interviewed Rocco after the arrival ceremony of Philippine Navy's BRP Conrado Yap and BRP Davao Del Sur at Pier 13 of South Harbor in Manila on Tuesday, August 20.

Rocco also revealed that being a soldier is part of his childhood dream.

"I can attest to every boy's dream to be a soldier. This is being one of it," Rocco said.

Rocco also cleared that being a reservist doesn't always mean going to war and other danger zones. Sometimes, it's about helping people in times of disasters.

"It's not to be afraid of kasi usually yung mga tao takot e, 'Ay susugod ako, makikipagbarilian ako.'

"You can help in your own way.

"I can help in my own way through medical missions, doing feeding programs," said Rocco, who is a board passer with a master's degree in nursing.

Meanwhile, Rocco is set to play the role of Diego Ramos in the Philippine adaptation of hit Korean drama Descendants of the Sun.
